The Lodge GL12 Glass Lid Cover is a 12-inch tempered glass lid designed to fit select Lodge cast iron cookware, including skillets, Dutch ovens, and chicken fryers. This clear-view lid lets you monitor your food as it cooks while locking in heat and moisture for deep flavor development during long simmering, braising, or slow-cooking sessions. The tempered glass construction is more durable and safer than standard glass, with thermal shock resistance to prevent shattering.

Whether you're braising meats, simmering stews, or cooking dishes that benefit from visible progress checks, this glass lid keeps your Lodge cookware covered without blocking your view. The stainless steel protective rim provides a secure fit on 12-inch Lodge pieces, while the silicone knob remains oven safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for versatile stovetop and oven use.

Features and Benefits

  • Tempered Glass Construction: More durable and safer than ordinary glass, with thermal shock resistance to prevent cracking or shattering during temperature changes.

  • Stainless Steel Protective Rim: Provides a secure, stable fit on compatible Lodge 12-inch cookware.
  • Silicone Knob: Oven safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Dishwasher Safe: Convenient cleanup after cooking.
