Follow these simple instructions for easy-on application:

1. Remove the Base Layer from the travel pouch and unzip it completely.
2. With your dog standing and facing you, gather the neck fabric and slip it over your dog’s head, ensuring the Kurgo logo is visible on the chest.
3. Gently place each front paw into the sleeves, gathering the fabric if necessary to prevent any sticking.
4. Carefully place both back paws into the remaining sleeves, adjusting the length as needed to avoid dragging.
5. Fasten the snap button at the base of the tail and zip up the zipper to the neck, securing the zipper keeper.
6. Wrap the belly band around your dog’s stomach for a snug fit, ensuring comfort without being too tight.
7. Cinch the neck adjustment cord as needed for a secure fit.

The Stowe Base Layer is designed to provide neck, core, and 3/4 sleeve leg coverage on chilly days. For the best fit, focus on back length and chest circumference. Due to the variety of dog shapes, adjustments may be necessary:

If the legs are too long, fold the excess fabric inside and secure it with hook and loop fabric adhesive or hem it with a sewing machine.
If the legs are too loose, vertically fold the excess fabric and secure it with hook and loop fabric adhesive.
If the belly area is too loose, use the belly band for a snugger fit.
If the neck area is too baggy, adjust it using the neck adjustment cord.
